About Course
SPEAKING CLASS FOR FCE, CAE & CPE
Preparation for the Speaking part in the format of the Cambridge Certificate Exams: FCE /B2 First/, CAE /C1 Advanced/, CPE /Proficiency/
The curriculum in which students learn the language develops all four basic language skills reading, listening, writing and speaking and prepares students for the Cambridge Certificate examination. In addition, together with our partners at Direct English /www.directenglish.com/, in order to support students in their efforts to pass the exam successfully, we have developed a conversation course that includes exercises on the four components of the speaking part of these exams.
The course consists of 15 academic hours and is designed to help learners develop more confidence and even better speaking skills. The lessons are delivered remotely from the United Kingdom by highly qualified teachers for whom English is native. The program is an excellent opportunity to improve language learning, to increase vocabulary and to improve pronunciation and intonation.
Participants are divided into small groups of 4 to 6 people. They practice answering general questions /part 1/, comparing pictures and talking about them /part 2/, having a discussion about a question with options presented in a diagram /part 3/, discussing questions asked by the examiner /part 4/. Students will develop the ability to debate in pairs and answer questions about the other candidates’ pictures, as well as the ability to argue and express a personal opinion on a given topic from different areas of life, e.g. household, work and career, leisure, food and entertainment, environmental protection, science and technology, social media and its influence, crime and punishment, climate change and protests, charity and more.
